Mark and I's zine, Even If Your Voice Shakes... is FINALLY online! The first two issues are ready for your reading. A third is on the way in the next few months. Even If... is a collection of our own writings, and occasionally other people's writings, focusing on the music industry, underground music, the politics involved in the music world, and politics in general. HELP IRAQ VETERANS AGAINST THE WAR spread the word!
From March 13-16, Iraq Veterans Against the War is hosting Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan in DC, where hundreds of veterans will testify to the realities of the occupation in Iraq. You can help by setting up a screening in your town, at your school, or just for your family/friends in your house.
The schedule and screening info is available at http://ivaw.org/wintersoldier/howtowatch which explains the different options. Everything is available for Live Feed, which means you have to screen it as it's happening. Most of the key parts are available through Internet Video/archive, which means you can screen it anytime. There's also audio-only options.
The things you need are: A computer with a fast internet connections, a projector that has a computer hook-up, computer speakers, and a screen or blank white wall.
The 2 main days are March 14th and 15th. You will be able to pick and choose clips and sections to show based on the schedule which is on that website above.
